The most common problem with faucets is dripping. Everyone thinks that the dripping problem is always caused by the failure of the temperature-controlled spool. That is not necessarily the case. The problem of the size of the water flow is not necessarily the problem of the temperature-controlled spool. In fact, there are few problems with the spool, and how to use it improperly may also cause problems.
First: the cap is loose
If the water is dripped after the spool is closed, it may be caused by the looseness of the pressure cap. If the faucet is used for a long time, it will often cause the pressure cap to loosen and the water will not seal. You only need to tighten the cap by hand to solve the dripping.
Second: the temperature control spool under the apron deformation
When the faucet is used for a long time, the rubber ring under the temperature control valve core will be deformed to cause dripping, and only one rubber ring needs to be replaced and reinstalled.
Third: the spool is loose
How to drip out from the periphery of the valve plug can be formed by loose or misaligned spools. It only needs to be disassembled and refitted.
Fourth: the water inlet problem
If the dripping water seeps from the bottom of the faucet, it may be caused by a problem with the deformation of the inlet pipe. In this case, it is necessary to unscrew the inlet pipe for replacement or adjustment.
Fifth: the spool is broken
If the drip site is in the middle of the spool, then the valve spool is broken and you need to replace it with a new one.
